Tetracycline -This oral antibiotic is derived from tetracycline. It is used to cure certain kinds of bacterial skin disorders including acne. This antibiotic should not be used as an acne treatment for people who have kidney disease, liver disease, or those who are pregnant.

Minocycline – This is acne treating oral antibiotic derived from tetracycline antibiotic. It helps by stopping the growth of certain bacteria. It is used to treat several types of skin disorders which include acne.

Doxycycline -This oral antibiotic is derived from tetracycline antibiotic. It is known to kill certain types of bacteria or stop their growth completely. It is used as an active ingredient in many oral acne treatment products.
